This Privacy Policy explains how Hoop Health (“we,” “us,” “our”) collects, uses and protects your information when you visit hoop.health or sign up to our email list.

Who we are:

Hoop Health is operated by Hoop Labs Ltd (company number 17154170), registered in England and Wales. For any question about this policy or your data, contact info@hoop.health. We aim to respond within one month.

Information we collect:

When you sign up to our email list: your name and email address.

Automatically, when you visit our site: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring pages, and similar technical data, collected via cookies and analytics tools (including Google Analytics).

If you contact us: whatever you send us, and our reply.

We do not currently collect health information, payment details, or run any account system on this site.

How we use it:

To send you the emails you signed up for.

To understand how people use our website, so we can improve it.

To respond to messages you send us.

To meet our legal obligations.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers.

Cookies:

We use cookies and similar technologies to recognise your browser, remember preferences, and understand site usage through analytics tools. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings, though some site features may not work as well if you do.

Who we share it with:

Our email platform (Kit) — name, email address, and marketing consent record.

Our website hosting and analytics providers, technical data only.

Professional advisers, our accountant, or regulators/law enforcement where we’re legally required to.

We do not share your information with any other third party for their own marketing purposes.

International transfers:

Some of the providers above may be based outside the UK. Where that’s the case, we rely on the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or an adequacy decision, as applicable.

How long we keep your data:

Marketing/email consent records: kept while you remain subscribed, and for 2 years after you unsubscribe, as evidence of consent given.

Website analytics data: kept for 14 months.

Contact form and support correspondence: kept for 3 years from the date of the last message.

Where we’re legally required to keep records for longer (e.g. accounting records), we do so for the legally required period.

Your rights:

You can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, or restrict what we do with it. You can withdraw marketing consent at any time by clicking “unsubscribe” in any email, or by emailing info@hoop.health.

If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk), or the supervisory authority in your own country.

Children:

This site is intended for adults and is not directed at children.
